B. Updated Commentary
We would inform you about NEPRA SRO 1737 of 4.11.2024 (Attachment 136.1) in the ensuing paragraph, with emphasis in bold.
SRO 1737 (I)/2024 -Pursuant to Section 31(7) of the Regulation of Generation. Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power Act, 1997 as amended from time to-time and as per the mechanism for monthly, quarterly and annual adjustments provided in the Tariff Determination of KE dated 5.7.18 duty’ notified in the official Gazette vide SRO No. 576(I)/2019 dated 22.5.19, NEPRA makes and notifies the following adjustment in the approved tariff on account of variation in fuel charges for the month of August 2024 in respect of KE:

The Positive FCA (KC: which is not only fuel adjustment - but refer to PGEC 135 for more details) for the month of August 2024:
(a) Shall be applicable to all the consumer categories except Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS). lifeline consumers and Prepaid metering consumers.
(b) Shall be shown separately in the consumers' bills on the basis of units billed to the consumers in the respective month to which the adjustment pertains.
(c) K-Electric shall reflect the fuel charges adjustment in respect of August 2024 in the billing month of January 2025.
(d) While effecting the Fuel Adjustment Charges, K-Electric shall keep in view and strictly comply with the orders of the courts notwithstanding this order.
C. Multiplication
1. Although all the Commentaries are to the extent of the Subscribed IDs only, however, your Goodself is allowed to share this PGEC for the Noble Cause to Impart Knowledge, so as to save Electricity usage by your Entity, Home, Masjids, etc leading to less Units usage bill and all Professionals & Masses may make issue as to THREE matters are being charged to Good Payers viz (a) Capacity Charges, etc (b) Why Line Losses (including for Govt, KE & XWAPDA DISISCOs employees and theft) and Bribery as to increase in Tariff (c) A huge counter effect of 4 Federal Sales Tax types.
2. If Public support continues with Invite your friends to be a part of this great struggle based on regular increase in Jamaat e Islami membership form being filled, then 5 announced and 18 IPPs will announce Termination Agreement and prices will be reduced. Have your Goodself, family, friends filled the Online Form? It would be in the Interest of Justice and Public interest at Large that now DISCOS like KE & XWAPDA should reduce prices, if we keep pressure on them and Govt.
3. We expect that you would support and be a Member of the JI, whose workers are taking risks and working in your Favour; and Against Unreasonable Prices due to Capacity, Line Losses (including theft), etc; and will atleast multiply. Otherwise, be ready for constant increases in Electricity bills with different methods, inspite of constant decreases in International Fuel Prices, etc.

2. After deliberation the different commentators raised their concerns during the hearing. matter in paragraph 7 - we also appreciate commentators Mr Imran Shahid, Mr Ahmed Azeem, Mr Tanveer Barry, Arif Bilwani and Mr Aneel Mumtaz Commentator, etc who raised various concerns.
3. In view of the aforementioned discussion, the Authority has decided to allow a positive FCA of Rs 0.4013/kWh for the month of August 2024, to be passed on to consumers in their monthly bills of January 2025 as under;

Further to KQU 3040 dated 10.10.24, being an important matter, we would inform you about Video Jamaat e Islami & Public Support Dharna & JI-Govt Agreement led to another Great Success for Electricity Bills reduction. No more Capacity, etc unfair by 5 big entities and 18 more shortly. Continue support to JI and Pressure on Govt will reap more benefits In Sha Allah (Aaj TV Reports) (Attachment 129.1).
The credit of this matter goes to Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman & his team, FPCCI, etc for which para B & C can be referred and action be taken as per para D, to speed efforts to save your entity, home, etc Electricity bills, In shaa Allah
(a) Withdrawal of IPPs will save the country's exchequer a lot
(b) Capacity payment will not be given to these 5 IPPs onwards + shortly to 18 IPPs too

Further to KQU 2988 dated 7.9.24 being an important matter, we would inform you about Decision of the Authority in the matter of FCA for the month of July 2024 for XWDISCOs along with Notification Thereof (Attachment 121.1) with decision in the ensuing paragraph, with emphasis in bold.

4. Regarding QATPL, a deduction of Rs 199.948 million from the requested previous adjustments has been made based on the verified invoices for the month of May 2024. The impact of the same has been accounted for while working out instant monthly FCA. Remaining adjustments being in line with the Authority approved rates has been included as previous adjustment while working out the instant monthly FCA.
