Miscellaneous Important Quick Commentary - MIQC  136

 

A. Executive Summary

 

Owing to matters in para D to F, be ready for Hajj this, if you Goodself have not performed Hajj earlier, assuming that your Goodselfthat Almighty Allah would have given sufficient resources to perform Hajj and Healthy too.


 

B.    Updated Commentary

 

1. Further to matters in BG above & KQU 3642 of 10.11.25, being an important matter, we would inform you about Pakistan, Saudi Arab ink agreement on Hajj arrangements (Attachment 136.1) in the ensuing paragraph, with emphasis in bold & Underline, ours for quick reading.


 

2. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have formally signed an agreement regarding the arrangements and facilities for the upcoming Hajj.

 

3. Saudi Deputy Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr Abdulfattah Bin Sulaiman Mashat and Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs of Pakistan Dr Syed Ata-ur-Rehman signed the agreement in Jeddah on 8.11.25.

 

4. Dr Syed Ata-ur-Rehman expressed gratitude for the Saudi government's excellent efforts in hosting and providing facilities to the guests of Allah.

 

5. He said like the last year Pakistani pilgrims will be provided with high-quality services this year.

 

6. The Secretary further expressed the determination of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to complete arrangements for both government and private Hajj schemes in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with the guidelines of the Saudi government.

 

C. On whom Hajj is Obligatory 

 

Your goodself may be aware that Hajj has been made Obligatory / Farz for every Muslim, who is sane (who has reached the age of puberty) as per para D & F.

 

D.   Hajj is Obligatory as per Quran 

 

Hajj is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is obligatory for every Muslim once in their lifetime, provided they are physically fit and financially capable

 

E.   Hajj is Obligatory as per Hadis

 

Hazrat Muhammad (blessings be upon him) is reported to have said: “Whoever possesses provision and conveyance for a journey to the House of Allah (in Makkah), but in spite of this, does not perform Hajj, then he may as well choose to die either a Jew or a Christian.” (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)
